Jess Sun’s “why” is to bridge understanding — something she got a lot of practice at as the daughter of immigrants, one a creative and one an engineer.
Tech is how her family’s life changed, so she’s long been a believer. But she quickly learned that in the real world, change doesn’t just happen on its own: it must be sold. She’s been exploring that concept ever since.
Independent since 2020, Jess began her career leading internal comms for tech transformations at Target. She’s been a marketer at various startups, studied marketing and IS in undergrad, and earned her MBA at UC Berkeley. Learn more about her on LinkedIn.
